Shrimp with Cucumber and Chile Lime Saltburst

Cucumbers, chiles and lime make shrimp taste so fresh and lively. Try this recipe from the Spiceburst kitchen...

4 lbs boiled shrimp
6 green onions, sliced
olive oil
pinch of sugar
3-6 pinches of Chile Lime Saltburst (adjust according to your taste)
1 cucumber, peeled and diced
juice of one lime

  1. Clean and devein the shrimp.
  2. Heat the olive oil (on low) in a skillet.
  3. Raise the heat to medium and add the shrimp. The objective is to cook them quickly at a high temperature. Overcooking them will make them tough.
  4. Saute until the shrimp are cooked or they barely turn white.
  5. With the heat still on medium, add the cucumber, Chile Lime Saltburst, and sugar.
  6. Stir constantly until the cucumbers are translucent. The shrimp should now be completely white on the inside, but a golden brown on the outside.
  7. Add more Chile Lime Saltburst if needed.
